InPost integration

A hundred InPost parcels without a hundred forms

You select the ready orders from every channel and create InPost shipments for them, on your own contract and at your own rates. The address and the Paczkomat parcel locker are already in the shipment, and the tracking number goes back by itself to the marketplace the order came from.

To get started you need:an InPost contractyour organisation ID and an API token from InPost’s Manager Paczek panel

In short. OpenLinker is open-source order management software with a 0 zł licence that creates InPost shipments on your own contract, up to 25 orders in one step. It takes the Paczkomat code from Allegro, ERLI, Shoper and PrestaShop orders with the InPost module, and the tracking number goes back by itself to the channel the order came from.

Sound familiar?

Two windows open since morning

Orders in one, Manager Paczek in the other. Name, street, phone, Paczkomat code, size, click. And again, more than a hundred times on an ordinary Tuesday.

A cash on delivery amount typed in by hand

You take it from the order and copy it into the InPost form. Swap one digit and the courier collects a different amount from the customer than the order said.

The evening “where’s my parcel?”

The tracking number stayed in Manager Paczek. You copy it over to the marketplaces and the shop, and still one order ends up without it.

Tuesday: 120 InPost parcels, handover at 15:00

  1. 12:30You select the ready orders from the shop and the marketplaces. The window sets aside four cash on delivery orders and one unpaid one, and says why.
  2. 12:35Five batches, one click each, with a handover list. You send the cash on delivery parcels separately, with the amount already in the form.
  3. 15:00You hand the parcels to InPost. Numbers and statuses go back to the orders by themselves, and to the sales channels.

What OpenLinker does for you

  • Paczkomat chosen at purchaseThe Paczkomat code is already in the shipment. It comes from connected marketplaces, from Shoper and from PrestaShop with the InPost module.
  • Selected ordersYou create the whole batch with one click, and a rule for the delivery method suggests the size.
  • Cash on delivery or no paymentThe window sets such an order aside and says why. You send a cash on delivery parcel separately, with the amount from the order.
  • Shipment createdThe order is marked as shipped in the shop and on the marketplaces, and the number is added once InPost assigns it.

What you’ll pay each month

You pay nothing for the OpenLinker licence, however much you sell. You pay for the server, and its price grows with your traffic, not with each order.

  3. When InPost or a marketplace changes something

    Updates

    Who: Us

We adapt the integration to API changes, and the fix ships in the next OpenLinker release. You install it yourself, or a partner or we do it for you.

Your installation belongs to you: it runs on your server, your orders and customer data sit in your database, and the code is open under the Apache 2.0 licence.

How to get started

  1. In Manager Paczek, copy your organisation ID and generate an API token.
  2. In OpenLinker, paste both and add your sender address.
  3. In your shipping rules, assign InPost to delivery methods and print a test label.

Without a notification address in Manager Paczek, statuses refresh every 30 minutes. The wizard shows you how to add one.

Rather not do it yourself? We’ll set it up for you. Step-by-step guide.

Questions about the InPost integration

How does OpenLinker know the buyer’s Paczkomat?

From the order. The Paczkomat code comes from Allegro, ERLI, Shoper and PrestaShop with the InPost module. For WooCommerce orders, you enter it on the shipment.

Will the buyer see the tracking number?

Yes, in the channel where they bought. OpenLinker passes the number to the marketplace, to PrestaShop and to Shoper. WooCommerce has no field for a tracking number, so there the order gets the completed status. Whether the buyer also gets an email is up to the shop or the marketplace.

Can I send Allegro Standard shipments on my own contract?

No, because since 22 August 2024 Allegro has required them to go on Allegro’s contract. You send them through the Allegro integration, from the same order list. Your InPost contract covers the shop, other marketplaces and Allegro listings outside Standard.

Can I use several carriers at once?

Yes. In your shipping rules you assign each delivery method to a carrier, for example InPost or DPD, and the bulk shipping window gives you a separate handover list for each of them.

Can I move from BaseLinker or Apilo without duplicate labels?

Yes. Move channel by channel, and make sure only one tool ships a given channel at any moment. Within OpenLinker itself, an order won’t get a second label.
